【讲解】
文中的intellectual property就是“知识产权”的意思。1970年4月26日，《建立世界知识产权组织公约》正式生效；从2001年起，将每年的4月26日定为“世界知识产权日”（World Intellectual Property Day），其中intellectual用作形容词，意为“知识产权的；智力的”，如：intellectual exercise（智力训练）；intellectual也可以做名词，意为“知识分子”，如：a high intellectual（一名高级知识分子）。
最后一句中的copyright解释为“版权（的）”，既可以作名词，也可以作形容词，如：perpetual copyright（永久性版权）。
